Showing up tomorrow is CRITICAL, not optional
They threw a Democratic Senator to the ground and handcuffed him for asking a question during a press conference - turn out tomorrow to say NO to Trump's overreach
Yesterday, Democratic Senator Alex Padilla was forcibly removed from a press conference in the federal building in Los Angeles, thrown to the ground, and roughly handcuffed after he said “I’m Senator Alex Padilla. I have questions for the Secretary” during a press conference in which Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem doubled down on the Trump administration’s aggressive use of the National Guard in Los Angeles to “support” ICE arrests.
Watching this footage chilled me. Driven by dead-eyed bigot Stephen Miller, Trump’s attempted coup continues to grow in size and force.
What can you do to stop it? It’s simple. GO TO A NO KINGS PROTEST TOMORROW, SATURDAY, JUNE 14. There are LOTS to choose from.
Your rights and the rights of everyone you know are so much more important than any party or baseball game or playdate or hike or grocery run or movie.
It doesn’t matter if it’s going to rain tomorrow or it will be hot or muggy. There’s real danger afoot and it’s up to us to push back.

Then invite your friends and family to join you. Make sure they know it matters. Because it does.
Those of you in my neck of the woods, I hope to see you at the NO KINGS protest in Kingston at Academy Green Park at 2:30 PM. Bring signs. Wear a raincoat. It will be good to be together and use our voices to protect this country.
